Sydney Mums: You’re Invited To This Free Family Festival Celebrating Disney•Pixar’s New Movie ‘Coco’

The magical world of Disney•Pixar’s latest animated adventure Coco is set to be brought to life on the streets of Sydney these summer hols and you and the fam are most definitely invited.

Coco is a movie all about family, so what better way to celebrate its big cinematic release this Boxing Day than to get involved in our epic free Coco Family Festival, complete with tonnes of fun activities inspired by the heartwarming new flick?

From the blessed brains who brought us such memorable outings as Toy Story 3, Finding Dory and Inside Out, Coco centres on the story of a 12-year-old hero named Miguel, who decides to follow his dreams of becoming a musician despite his family’s generations-old ban on music.

And like the movie, the Coco Family Festival will immerse your littlies in a stunning celebration of Mexican culture, complete with performances by Mexican dancers and a Mariachi band, a cooking demonstration plus a stack of arts and crafts activities.

It’s all going down on Tuesday, 19th December at Sydney’s Martin Place from 10am, before the movie officially hits cinemas on Boxing Day.

Not only is a free day out that the kids will be raving about until the new school term starts, it’s also guaranteed to distract them from snooping around the house in search of hidden Chrissy presents for at least a day.

Check out the official Facebook event right here.
