Serena Williams Twins It Up With Daughter, Olympia, In Ballerina Video

Earlier today, December 30th, 2021, Serena Williams posted an adorable mother-daughter moment to Instagram. Both she and her daughter, Olympia Ohanian, 4, twinned it up in matching ballerina outfits, and Olympia gave us a little dance.

Additionally, the pair both wear sunglasses and headbands, all pink all the time. Although, it does appear that the Instagram filter used helped a bit with that.

Serena Williams Has an Instagram Just for Her Daughter

While this ballerina post was sent out from Williams’ account, she does have an account for Olympia. According to PEOPLE, the account showcases little sweet moments from the young girl’s life.

Given how Olympia took over the show in the ballerina post, we can understand why she would want an account of her very own. “I don’t need to be in the camera,” Williams says in the video, just before ducking out of frame. “You got too much pizazz, girl.”

Williams captioned the video post with a simple, “My morning.”

PEOPLE also reports that Olympia’s doll, Qai Qai, also has her own Instagram account. Williams’ husband, Alexis Ohanian, told them previously that they gifted Olympia with the doll a few years back. It “was really important” to both parents “that Olympia has a Black baby doll.”

“Qai Qai is a special member of our family,” says Williams. “We hope The Adventures of Qai Qai will give others a new way to welcome Qai Qai into their own home.”

Ohanian, the co-founder of Reddit, also partnered with Adobe and Invisible Universe to create a free Qai Qai coloring book. A special collaboration to celebrate International Daughters Day, back in September, says PEOPLE.

For the parents, they hoped the doll would “expose” their daughter “to something that can hopefully break a cycle that we know exists.”
