With Halloween coming quickly you might need a few tricks up your sleeve to get all those costumes ready in time! Here’s a really simple mask tutorial (less than 10 minutes and no sew!) to make an average hero into a superhero!
Supplies:
Craft Felt in a superhero color
Bias tape
Glue gun
Scissors
Paper and pen or printout
One mini superhero
Cut out a mask shape including holes for the eyes that will fit your mini superhero
Pin to felt and carefully cut out. Remove pattern and trim it so there aren’t any sharp corners or nicks
Cut out two pieces of bias tape, about 14 inches long or so (enough to tie behind your superhero’s head)
Add a bit of hot glue to the end of one piece and place the edge of your mask on top to adhere
It should look like this now! Go find your superhero to try it on!
