DIY: Bleach Tie Dye Tees

Bleach is fun to experiment with on cotton clothing. There are so many fun designs you can try using bleach to create a really unique piece. Keep reading to see how to create these onsies…

Supplies:

• Onesie or tee in a color other than white
• Bleach
• Masking tape
• Cardboard piece
• Rag or white towel
• Brush

Slide a piece of cardboard inbetween the layers of the onsie or tee

Tape strips of tape and place them on the tee in an even distance apart

Continue until the whole tee is covered

Tape along the sides as well

Tip your brush into the bleach

Apply to the tee between the tape

Let dry and then tab gently with a rag

Start removing the tape. You’ll see the bleach leaks through and creates a nice tie dye striped effect

Rinse under cold water and wash immediately, then dry. For the pink splatter one I simply splattered dots of bleach all over the tee before washing and drying as well.
