What better way to stay warm this winter than to snuggle up on the couch watching a movie with your family under a cozy blanket? This super adorable DIY pom pom blanket will be sure to warm your house and put a smile on your face every time you use it.
Supplies:
- Yarn
- Plastic knitting needle
- Throw blanket without fringe
- Pom pom maker
- Scissors
Instructions:
Step 1: Make your pom pom with yarn according to the instructions on the pom pom maker box. Repeat at least 15-20 times. Note: To make really puffy poms, wrap at least 3-4 layers on each semicircle.
Step 2: Cut an 11-inch piece of yarn. Do this for as many pom poms as you have. Thread the piece of yarn onto the plastic knitting needle. Then thread the needle through the center of a pom pom. Thread the needle through the edge of the throw blanket and tie to secure. Repeat this step until all of your pom poms are sewn on.
Project complete!
