Snoop Dogg Launches YouTube Channel for Kids, Doggyland

On August 22, the rapper announced the launch of a new YouTube channel for kids called “Doggyland—Kids Songs & Nursery Rhymes.” Doggyland is aimed to help kids learn social-emotional skills through rap, dance, and song. The show is aimed at toddlers to 8-year-olds and features a colorful cast of dogs in a vibrant world where they sing fun and educational songs that teach social, learning and cognitive skills.

Snoop Dogg partnered with Emmy nominated producer, Claude Brooks and singer/songwriter, October London to create the new animated series. The main character Bow Wizzle is voiced by Snoop Dogg, who serves as the adult mentor to the rest of the cast. “I’ve always wanted to create a kid friendly series that lets kids be kids and is truly representative of the Culture with everything from the music to the characters. When I started to build my team, it was only right to partner with Claude, who created the iconic series, Hip Hop Harry, which built the blueprint to diverse kids programming, and October London, a talented singer and writer.” said Snoop Dogg, Co-Creator, Doggyland – Kids Songs & Nursery Rhymes.

The series can be found on YouTube and YouTube Kids with new episodes dropping every week on Tuesday. There is also and accompanying album, Doggyland – Kids Songs & Nursery Rhymes on all streaming platforms.
