Fall Custard for Baby

Fall Custard

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup of applesauce
  • 1/4 cup of sweet potato
  • 1/4 cup of whole milk (you may substitute rice, soy or nut milk if desired)
  • 1 whole egg
  • pumpkin or apple pie spice (just a pinch or 2)

Directions:

Step 1: Preheat oven to 350F degrees.

Step 2: Whisk together all ingredients and pour into ramekins (may fill only 2 ramekins)/

Step 3: Bake for 15-25 minutes depending on size and depth of ramekin – please watch the baking process so burning does not occur!

Serving Idea:

Mash for baby and mix in yogurt or another fruit sauce such as blueberry or peach.

Will not puree well but will freeze well.
