I feel truly blessed to have a really fantastic network of very supportive girlfriends and we’ve all become pretty “pro” at making sure we always find some time to get together with each other on a fairly regular basis. One of the great excuses we often use to make this happen, is to celebrate each other’s birthdays. For myself, I don’t really care what the occasion is, I just love getting together with my girls, chatting it up and bonding. Most of our get togethers are super casual and we all bring pot luck style food. And as you might imagine, cocktails are also often a featured component of these get togethers too.
Recently, we had a couple of warm days so we took our birthday celebration poolside. It turned out to be a pretty perfect day, with all of us relaxing poolside and chatting it up endlessly. And isn’t getting time recharging with your best girlfriends, exactly the kind of day that every mom dreams about after running the Mommy Fast Track for too many consecutive days or weeks?
So now that we’ve got lots of warm Summer days and nights ahead of us, it’s the perfect time to switch up the usual girl time cocktails, for some fun & refreshing “boozy” popsicles that are sure to keep the conversation fun and lively.
The skies the limit on the number of different creative combinations you can put together to come up with your own favorite popsicle flavor, so take a look at a few of these examples to get some inspiration for making your own popsicle creations.
