Summer has unofficially kicked off! That means it's time to kick your bathing suit shopping into high gear. Nobody actually likes going bathing suit shopping, and to be honest, the mirrors and the lighting in the retail stores make everyone look shorter, fatter, and pastier than they really are. My advice is to order a few bathing suit options that you like online (be sure to check the return policy first), try them on in the comfort of your own home, and send back what doesn't work. You'll feel much more comfortable and may end up liking a style that you didn't think would work at first.
Bikinis and perfect bodies are so overrated, because this season it's all about one-piece bathing suits. Thank goodness because once those stretch marks came my way, my bikini was hung up for good.
